Kash Ransom is a 10-year-old boy, the son of Emily and Adam, and the heart behind Project Kash—an advocacy-driven platform rooted in visibility, inclusion, and the power of being seen.
Kash is autistic and medically complex, and his life reflects both the challenges and strengths that come with navigating a world not always designed for children like him. Through Project Kash, his story brings awareness to the realities faced by medically complex and neurodivergent children and their families—while also challenging misconceptions and redefining what ability, communication, and success can look like.
Project Kash was created to give Kash a voice in a world that often overlooks or underestimates children with different needs. It serves as a platform to advocate for acceptance, better support systems, and greater understanding—not just for Kash, but for countless others whose experiences deserve to be recognized and respected.
With the support of his family, the project highlights the importance of inclusion, accessibility, and compassionate care. It shines a light on the daily resilience required to navigate medical complexity, while also celebrating moments of joy, connection, and progress that might otherwise go unseen.
At its core, Project Kash is about more than one child’s journey—it is a call for awareness, empathy, and change. Kash’s story stands as a reminder that every child, regardless of diagnosis or circumstance, has value, a voice, and a story worth telling.

I recently returned to school to earn my Special Education Degree. I am actively involved in schools, parent councils, and various community outreach events. I have an Autistic daughter, and my youngest son is deaf, non-verbal, and autistic.
I love working with kids and people. As part of Project Kash, I would raise awareness about autistic children in the community. Whether that be through resources, helping others understand how to interact with Autistic children. People such as First responders, Educators, and Parents of children who may want to know more about kids with Autism. I would like to create a warm, safe, non-judgmental space for parents and anyone who would like to learn more about Children with Autism or to answer any questions. There is no such thing as a stupid question. It truly takes a tribe to raise children. Especially children with special needs.
